I would try Marie Shaver or Softballcat12. Not sure if she gives lessons, I bet she does. I have seen her work with our pitchers and she knows pitching. If she doesnt give lessons she is also well connected in that region and could get you were you need to go.

Personal favorite...Radara McHugh. Very talented at communicating and motivating pitchers. Spends a lot of time on the mental approach to pitching.

Is there a way to get in contact with Dave or Amie Leffew, or Marie Shaver?

+1 for Radara McHugh. Though I've never met her, I've seen the results of her instruction through my niece who works with her at the 14U level.

Dave Leffew is very good. Was there this evening with my daughter and he was telling me how 4 of his pitchers had just sighned D1 scholarships. The list of pitchers he has and does work with reads like a who's who of talent.

Another vote for Leffew here. Know of many girls who are or have worked with him and all are very good pitchers.

Since there is no magic wand to turn a young lady into a top notch competitor & pitcher it is important for the pitching instructor to be a motivator & work well with the girls. I think that the young lady has to bond with the instructor & see the benefits of the instruction and then work to apply what she has learned. If you only have your instructor once or twice a week then it is critical for you to work on your own in between lessons to establish a good routine to improve. Can anyone help me out on prices per lesson with these instructors?

Dave is 50.00 per hour so it pays to have a girl who works hard on her own between lessons.

Working between lessons should be done with any instruction you receive. Makes no difference if it's 50 bucks an hour or free.
