Who are the top teams at 12 u this season

Who does everyone think is the top 12 u teams.

Very little to go on right now but I hear Mason Thunder 02 is very good and Ice red is a very strong team. More will shake out but very early

Top 3- Laser White, Mason Thunder 02, Storm 02...no question!

Hard to say at this time of the year who else will be considered the most competitive. There are a lot of very good 02 and 03 teams. A lot of good games to watch this summer.
I haven't seen NEO teams play in a while, my guess the following teams will be the most competitive next season...(I could be way off base, just a guess)

Sabotage 02, Laser Black, Classics 02 & 03, Dirt Dawgs, Electric Shock?(used to be Impact?), Vikings Elite 02 Wells, Vikings Elite 03, Ice Red, Sundogs 02 & 03, Xplosive 02, Vipers 02 & 03, Heat Black etc.

I have seen some great players and teams in the 03's but I think there is a bigger number 02 of players/teams with developed skills. There is a long list of 02 teams that could belong in this list that I did not mention. I am a fan of many 02 & 03 teams. Again I could be wrong, its hard to guess how well 10-12 year olds will play right before a game, even harder the guess in November how they will play in July of the following year.
I hope they all continue to have fun, enjoy the game and continue to grow and play for many more years

I watched the team from Explosive play and they are crazy talented.
They will be one to watch for sure.
Disclaimer: I only saw them play in two games.

Mason Thunder 02 is an outstanding team with excellent coaching. We've been battling pretty well as we moved up to 12u ball this fall (coming from 10u), but Mason Thunder showed us there is another level of ball being played. Afterwards their coach came into our dugout and complimented our 11u team and even gave us some pointers such as our catchers were showing our signals to the third base coach. Not only do they kick butt, but they do it with class. For us they are a measuring stick.

We have not seen Lasers White, but we've heard they are equally dominant. Fun teams to watch!

Agreed ! They are the top of my list this fall. Very impressive offense. With Lasers white second and probably Storm 02 third. I'm pretty sure they won two fall tourneys. Which is no small task. It seems to be shaping up a little different than last year. The 03 class will definitely hold their own . It should be an interesting year.

I seen Lasers white and storm 02 and both are very good teams will be a lot of fun this summer with some of the 03 teams, Vipers, Lasers black, Sundogs and a few others that I think will do very well this summer.

No preseason votes in yet? I have seen all these teams this fall and so far the 02's look good, real good....

Gotta say top 5 Strom 02, Sabotage 02, Sundogs 02, Slammers 03 (yes 03), Lasers are always in the mix... in the hunt and very formidable Vikings Elite 02!

03's making noise... Slammers 03, Sundogs 03, Wizards 03, Vipers 03, and Vikings Elite 03...

Gonna be a battle every weekend next summer.. Gotta think Dayton metro 12U will be sweet...

We (Sabotage 02). Have played a lot teams this fall and I've watched a bunch more. I think there is 2 teams at the top with a group right behind. Also a few really solid 03 teams that will get stronger as the season.

Great dialogue. I included my list below. Although, I can't help, but do a little self promotion. I see that you have my 03 Cincy Slammers team listed, but not my 02 team. My 02 team finished 7th at Northern ASA Nationals last season and 5th at Eastern ASA Nationals the year before. My 03 team finished 4th at NSA nationals last year. The U12 team already grabbed an ASA and NSA berth this fall and traveled to Atlanta to play the top teams from TN, GA and NC and showed the girls from the south that we north siders can play some ball. My U11 team already grabbed an ASA berth this fall as well. Both teams are playing three (possibly four) invite only indoor tournaments this winter. We plan to travel south again early in the spring while things thaw out in Cincy. Keep us on your radar folks and see everyone on the field!
