Worth 454

Anybody have any firsthand experience with this bat? I've heard that the slowpitch version is pretty hot, and wondered if that translates over to the fastpitch version?

I have heard good things about the BB-Core Baseball version as well.

I know most people here are big Demarini fans but I got a chance to play around with one a couple of months ago and I personally think the 454 has similar pop but has a bigger sweet spot and slightly better feel than the CF4 (I have not had a chance to try a CF5). Also, Worth is known for their durability but people have complained that the painted graphics chip. Last season I was trying to convince my dd to get a 454 but after she had a composite bat explode on her she chose the Worth Toxic, which is a composite bat with a metal-sleeved barrel.

I wonder if college players are forced to use a sponsored piece of equipment or if it is just offered to them for free...?
