Timeout question

Infielder called time out during one of our games, then the coach sends another player from dug out to the circle to talk to team. Should this have been charged as a coaches time out?

Was this a timed game? I'm surprised the ump allowed it.

Yes, this would be a charged conference.

Maybe they thought that it wasn't a CC because it wasn't the coach who came out to talk to his player. But that's not the rule. It is a CC whenever time is called so that a team representative (ie: not a player currently in the game) can confer with the team.
