Free country mike. I'll say whatever I like about the umpire situation. It got better there after they went outside their local organization.
So, I wouldn't hold my breath for a phone call, Rookie.
Mardee and myself tried for three weeks to get you to call us or even e-mail us about making her Charity tournament a USSSA event. You held us off with your "special" hours of communication. For three weeks. That is completely unexceptable by any standards.
We are trying to raise money for a wonderful cause, make it a qualifier for the teams and show off Goshen to the new teams who haven't played there.
Please note the October 3rd and 4th Laser event in Goshen. Wanted it to be the first USSSA Southern Ohio College Showcase... but heck can't get a call from you about anything. ASA welcomed it with open arms and got back to us in one day.
News Flash: Goshen is now an ASA Park as well as a JAFO park. JAFO is me .

Tim, you are correct about the umpire situation. I just witnessed another day of horrible umpiring at Expressway Park. No wonder they have trouble getting enough teams to play at their park.

I thought the umpiring was fine today. Had one issue with the catcher totally blocking the plate without the ball, other than that, it was ok.

Can you please take your bantering back and forth to a private forum. Although it is entertaining, it does nothing to promote girls fastpitch here in Ohio and it only takes away a great day of fastpitch at a nice park.

Have to agree saw some bad calls and a strike zone that was very inconsistent all day.
