If all the 14U would like to play with 16U we could have a five team division. Bob will try to chart it out to see if we can get it done in one day. We have fall baseball leagues come in late in the evening but we might still be able to pull it off in one day. I will let you know tomorrow. Once again thanks for your patience.

Cincy Ice does not want to play with the 14U. I will go to the post office to see if there are any stragglers and check with Lady Mustangs to see if they want to play with the 14U. I will post an update on the tournament around 2pm.

In order to make the tourney happen the 14-u and 16-u teams might need to be combined. No different if the 14-U teams had decided to play up at 16-U. None of the 14-U teams are complaining about playing up at 16-U. Why would the 16-U team be complaining about playing good 14-U teams? are they afraid of them?

What difference does it make as to the reason if the Ice don't want to combine the teams. The fee's they are paying are for a 16U tourney. If that can't happen, I don't blame them.

I've watched Cincy Ice play and they are not afraid of anybody.

This is only my two cents for the 14u group. I have seen all 3 of those teams play and they would give most 16u teams a run for their money. I hope they can get this done to keep the teams playing this weekend.

I don't think "anyone was afraid to play anyone".
Why would 14U and 16U group combine? Some of the 14U might be a first year and the 16U might be a second year. What does it do to a team that would get beat up by a 16U team or what happens if a 14U team beats a 16U team? I don't see why the age groups be combined. It's okay if a 14u team enters a 16U team if they choose- I know several teams that play up. Anyone can read anything in not waiting to play 14U/16U combined. But I thought it was very rude to say that a team was afraid to play a lower age group- unless you are connected to the said team and you want to make a point?

We had one 16U team another wanted in. Then I got a third but then the second dropped. Then I had another one. Then they dropped. So we cancelled. Now guess what I have a 16U that wants in but I had to tell him we cancelled. Sorry, guys I tried.
