I always respect Centerville and their athletic traditions, but could never change my avatar!!!!
Northmont took us again...good game though...good team...we needed to hit and couldn't, just like most of Northmont's opponents....good job bolts....

Thought your daughter did a nice job keeping the Bolts off balance tonight with the offspeed stuff.

Another big game tomorrow at Fairmont for the Bolts. Then the Creek Friday at home and West Carrollton on Saturday. Man I love softball. Entertainment nearly every night of the week.

Mega GWOC Central games tonight...

Beavercreek vs. Centerville - winner could be battling for 3rd in Central, whoever keeps their eyes open and head up for 7 innings will win this one

Northmont vs. Fairmont - Northmont could solidify their lead or Fairmont could get back into the running for 1st

Springfield vs. Wayne - Springfield could be the spoiler as they are hungry for a win and CeCe already has well over 200 K's, Wayne could help their 1st place running with a win too

Wayne survives a pitchers duel 2-0. Cece DeBartolo strikes out 10 and only gives up one hit but it was an inside the park HR by LF Rybak. Wayne's Nicol Chesley gave up 2 hits and struck out 10.

From Wednesday: Springboro over Fairborn 2-0.
WP- Van Wert

Springboro heads to Kentucky this weekend for a tournament againt some of the best teams in the state of Kentucky. Their coach may be crazy, but Springboro is turning out to be tough team. Tons of improvement over the past two years.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Northmont gets the 3 seed in the tournament. Springboro coach voted the Bolts 10th seed knocking the Bolts out of the 2nd seed.

What an a hole he is. All because he calls the day before we are to play them and wants to move the game, which would have left Northmont with no game to play.

Do you have any idea about the rest of the seeds?

Coaches should be held accountable. If that actually happened then he has some explaining to do.

The entire bracket can be found at this link:

no offense but i don't see how northmont would have ever been 3rd? there are 5-6 other teams with better records before you get to northmont. But either way - that is the game all these coaches play to get at least 3-4 games in before they get to the tougher teams anyway - I vote for random picks!! this way it takes it out of the coaches hands completely - more fair that way!

Who are the 5 or 6 other teams with a better record than Northmont?? Lebanon and who else?

I beg to differ with you but there is no way that there are 5 or 6 teams in the Dayton area in D1 who are better then Northmont. I have to give the #1 seed clearly to Lebanon, but there is little doubt that Northmont should have been the #2 seed. They have played a very solid and successful schedule.

I'm not surprised to see that lakota west at (15 - 6) stole the #2 seed. Those guys always seem to pool the votes with their buddies down there to get seeded where they need to be. Actually I'm surprised that lakota east was not the #3 seed. In my opinion Northmont got hosed. At 20-3 and playing the schedule that they have played it is pretty clear that they should have been #2. Now they just have to prove it.

FYI: Here is how Lakota east did against the toughest teams that they played:

1) Mason: Lost 1-5
2) Mason: Lost 0-2
3) Gahanna Lincoln: Lost 5-6

Then they lose both ends of a DH this saturday to East Central (0-4 and 4-10)
