Regarding Centerville-Fairmont, the sad but true story. For the Elks, same ol' story. Nice 2-run homer for Kat Hopf to go along with a nice pitching outing. Jessie Walk fell behind early, but to her and Fairmont's credit they didn't quit and came up with the late win.

I know, I know, I know...like Chewman said, Fairmont knew the game would take 7 innings, Elks came and played 3. If we would get the first 3 outs on defense every inning instead of the 7th, 8th and 9th, we might do better!! :lmao:

Bolts 6-1 over Springboro tonight in an uninspiring game.

Side note, Springboro's coach looked real bad tonight IMO. Was mad at Northmont for not changing the game when Northmont was asked to do it last night at 8:00. Northmont had no open dates to reschedule while Boro had 5 open dates to reschedule Miamisburg. He went off on the umpires and then on Northmont's AD during the game. Made an a $ $ of himself in many people's eyes.

Those Fairborn girls can hit. When the wind was blowing out at the start of the game a couple of us parents discussed whether it wouldn't be prudent to walk Brittany than risk the traffic on Rt 4!

Northmont took us again...good game though...good team...we needed to hit and couldn't, just like most of Northmont's opponents....good job bolts....
