Cincy Doom Fastpitch Organization is happy to announce they will be hosting their 4th Annual Doom Madness tournament June 3rd, 4th and 5th. This is a four game guarantee (weather permitting) ASA rules tournament for ages 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u and 18u. Entrance fee: $425. Location: Heisler Park, 1870 Kirbett Road, Goshen, Ohio 45122. Application is available at www.cincydoom.net.

This was a great tourney to attend last year, fantastic ground crew had us playing after a monsoon. Is this A.S.A. sanctioned, or a A.S.A. qualifier?

This event will be unsanctioned, and not a qualifier. We will be playing ASA rules.

Was amazing what can be accomplished when everyone comes together for a common goal. Also should silence some of the talk about Goshen and rain.

Finally a good tournament that is not a qualifier. Heard great things about this tourney last year, I am sure that it will only get better.

They do a heck of a job with their fields. Should be a nice tourney.

We are going to keep this tourney open until 1/21/11. If we do not get a lot more interest, we are going to cancel.

My field mantaince skills can be hired out for the weekend if necessary. My speciality is moving porta johns out of small man made lakes. LOL MD

hard to believe there is not a large interest in this event. good fields , good competition, good concessions, . Is there some other tourney that weekend pulling away teams ?

The Dayton Metro ASA/USA National Qualifier at Kettering Fields is the same weekend.

Southern Ohio Hammerheads are looking at bringing their 14, 16 and 18 teams to Doom.
Doom is a great organization with an impeccable reputation...

Which Doom teams are playing in this tournament? It looks like the '95, '96, and '97 teams are signed up to play in the Dayton Metro tournament that same weekend.

Sorry we can not make it down there John. My youngest daughters organizations tournament is same as the Doom tournament. Love to be down there though.
Hope more teams will sign up!

This tourney got great reviews. Last year they were turning teams away. Waited too long and missed it last year but want to play this year so lets get those registrations in!

Yeah, but when you have three of the host orgs teams deciding to play somewhere else that weekend, what kind of message does that send?

that they compete at the highest level possible and need to qualify for ASA/
USA nationals just like all other top organizations. You want a great tourney
with good competition on nice fields with a guarantee that the host will take
great care of the other teams then get in . I'm sure the Doom org did'nt intention try
to schedule things where a nat' qualifier was going on in their back yard the same
weekend but thats the way things fell. It will still be a great tourney. Don't cancel because a few doom teams can't be there MD
