Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Not that big of a deal to her division 2 is just fine she wants playing time, softball is her 1st choice but b-ball has more money to divide or should i say less players to divide between. as a two sport athlete she didn't put alot of time into following up on interested college teams thats partly why she is not signed. But as the best all around player in the central she will play somewhere but as she says her degree is what she's going to school for.

I think you still get Claprood - I believe Herman is coaching in Troy.

But I agree with all the comments about the GWOC Central. Wow what a division this year - should be very strong and extreme competition. A dog fight to the end and it's anybody's title to grab. And throw in Lebanon, Fairborn and Miamisburg and we have ourselves a tough little District.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Wayne will return 8 starters amd as clark get's the well deserved headlines we will field a solid group.
Tim as for clark she also has b-ball offers and is considering whats best for her but as i see it somebody is going to get the diamond in the ruff with her she wants to be close to home.(wsu should get busy)
we also like to keep things quite over her in the heights we just like to win under the rador. should be a great central division this year as we try for the three-peat but with all the talent out there you never know what's going to play out.
Good luck to the teams and players in the best conference around.

My 2 cents- we played against Clark in summer ball last year and I was impressed. She was player of the year in GWOC Central as a Junior. She can hit, play defense and is quick. The bigger, more defining character trait about her is, she has the respect of many players across the league not only because of her abilities; but because of her attitude and kindness. Usually we only hear the negative, but this kid has managed to be a tough competitor and gain the respect of her fellow players in more ways than one.

I agree from seeing her in school ball last year. In the 3 games Northmont played against Wayne, she was solid in every game and made a couple spectacular plays in the field. She seems like a very intense player. I know she is respected by the Northmont players and coaching staff.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

fldjnk10/hammers you are exactly right on, she is a better person than a player she gives it her all every time out and she makes all the girls around her better we have been together 7 years(roadwarriors) and she been the leader on and off the field. She is the main reason we are going to play one more year as the 18u roadwarriors. Being this is there senior year and i wanted them to relax and enjoy the summer before college so we made a deal that 16u would be it. i had a family tragedy and had to miss the last three tournaments last year and really missed being out there with the girls. Upon the end of the season she had a meeting with the girls and said to them this is not how we are suppose to end so she rallied the girls for one final season with as she put it "our coach" so when you talk about character she is on the top of my list and she has respect for all she plays against never a bad word about competitors, win or lose she will pat you on the back and say good job. All i can say in closing is she is one of a kind and glad to have her on my side.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Some more names
tabitha Enicks Greenville 2B The strength is up the middle for greenville.
Kelly Martin Greenville SS
Erin Lander Northmont CF Has great range. Can cover the whole outfield.
Kayla Woodard Northmont C Probably the best catcher in the league. She is commited to play college softball at Otterbein university.

I dont know about Woodard being the best catcher in the league, got a darn good one in Greenville.:)

Yes greenville does, Jess, kayla, and madisen played one year together on the miami county blaze and have watched many games of greenville. It is up in the air, I guess im a little biased.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Centerville has a decent one that as a freshman came in at the end of the season last year and did a pretty good job...but then, I definitely am biased....:D
