Just a reminder to bring your fielding gloves. At the Parma Wildcats clinic last month there were a few players who didn't have their gloves because it was a hitting clinic. Unless Crystl and Howard change things up, there will be significant time spent on the throwing motion and its relationship to hitting.

Ted, Carol, Dan, Kyle thank you so much for helping this weekend. Many parents commented why would other coaches care about helping us?

When they saw you working the stations and helping the kids they understood you had the kids and the sport in mind!

Again the throwing showed the connection to hitting and at first was not understood and then we tied it together!

Thanks to the parents and players who allowed us to use them as examples of good and bad techniques and played along with us to help the others learn more.

Shayne aka Shawn was teased all weekend by Crystl and we all had a laugh at his expense. :D

Thanks to all the Valley Force coaches and parents for making us feel at home while doing the clinic.

Factory rat , nice meeting you and your daughter also.

Howard:

Sorry Ted, Dan, and I bugged out without saying good-bye to you. We were three tired campers and we wanted as much light as possible to see whether we would need to stop for a pontoon boat to make it home.

But it was a great weekend seeing the "ah ha" moments for players of all ages. Those little ones are priceless. And the turnout was great.

Thanks to the Valley Force and their hospitality. The organization has really motivated coaches and I expect to hear more success stories from the Indian Valley in the future.
