How about fishing out coaches? Many years (2003 or 2004) ago I was coaching at the 10U level and I made a deal with my players that if we beat the Pitts Spirit and won the Championship that they could throw me in...well they didn't forget from the day before and they threw me in...lol!

There will be a enough of good games to watch in Findlay at 16U states to keep us busy this year! Looks like everyone that wants to play good softball is headed to ASA states in the 14u and 16U age groups this year. Sweet!

For those teams who are hesitating because you might think you will be in a little too deep, I would say that this is a tournament that you want to put your team into to test them and also show them what to strive for. This is as close to a National tournament atmosphere that you will get without having to leave the state.
