Burg did beat Fairmont twice. The first 8-6 with Burg earasing a 6 run Fairmont lead on long balls late in the game.

The second 8-5 was more of a scrimmage than anything because both benches were emptied for the entire second game. The DH was played on a Sunday early in the year when you couldn't get a game in.

Never the less Burg could beat anybody in the league on any given day.

I suppose a 3-2 loss and a 3-0 loss could be fodder for assuming we got waxed by these more powerful teams.........if that is the assumption then so be it......and your concern of a 13-6 loss was credible ...score was 2-1 Burg going into the 6th when a pitching change was made that unfortunately did not work out that day....some days you get to eat the bear and somedays the bear eats you....but all is good Funky ......all is good.....keeping our fingers crossed we can give the real power teams a decent game in the tourney

I'll go ahead and say what all you people on here are afraid to come out and say. Miamisburg will beat Northmont on Monday! Mark that down Bolts fans. You were lucky to beat us the first time, and on a disputed/incorrect call. It will not happen this time around.
We are the GWOC South champions and the GWOC South is a much tougher division than the GWOC Central.
We are not Centerville, and Jess Clutter and her great catcher cannot stop our bats. I have seen the Northmont scores and your "young guns" cannot compete with us. Those little sophomore twins and all of those classmates are going down.
Northmont lost to Butler 2-0. We clobbered them tonight 12-5...enough said!
Monday cannot get here fast enough for me!

Wow.... Not sure who "Da'Burg" is but we do not need to give Northmont any bulletin board material... The fact is they beat us the first game and we better score more than a couple of runs on Monday to beat them this time! Time to be a little humble 'Burg and come out ready to play ball. Play the game like you know how!!

I didn't like the way they whooped it up after winning a game they should have lost at our place earlier in the year.

Seriously? They couldn't be happy about beating Da"Burg? We would have done the same thing.... If we would have hit that game we wouldn't be having this discussion!! Good for them and good for us. Now we know what needs to happen to win the game. They are a good team and so are we. And, if I were a betting man, I would take that bet Gannon... Should be pretty intense Monday....
