It wasn't much to watch for the most part, but I think it is more of a fun thing for all the players to be able to play and get to know other, where they otherwise would not. The announcer does trivia and always asks the same question first, every year:lmao:..lots of DD's summer teammates were on the south side and DD liked being in the dugout with some of the big time GWOC players, Chesley, Clutter, Baker, Parker, Spain, Clark, etc, etc...although missed seeing Boulder coming up to the plate. And yes Jimjen, it would have been cool if yours had made it too (while I dislike Fairmont and for good reason, yours is one of the diamonds in the rough, akin to Schnarr, jmho)

Now, I myself don't dislike C'ville anymore. I used to have that heated rivalry on the mat, field and diamond as a former Dragon. Even won a few. I leave it up to the kids of today to settle now. Heck, I know lots of very nice people from C'ville. Most of the them grew up in Kettering
