I was at the the All metro all star D1 game between the north and south teams tonight. Now I know both teams were missing some of there players. We were split up GWOC vs. Cincinnati+Springboro. There was useually 2 players from each team. The North (Gwoc) won 4 to 0 in 8 innings. Any other scores, I know there was the D3 tonight and D2 and D4 tomorrow?

Unfortunately we had to choose practice with our Classics Black instead of the district all star game tonight. First time in a while we have been able to get everyone together due to the state tournament. Got a lot of good prep work in for some big tournaments coming up. Sorry we missed it.

It wasn't much to watch for the most part, but I think it is more of a fun thing for all the players to be able to play and get to know other, where they otherwise would not. The announcer does trivia and always asks the same question first, every year:lmao:..lots of DD's summer teammates were on the south side and DD liked being in the dugout with some of the big time GWOC players, Chesley, Clutter, Baker, Parker, Spain, Clark, etc, etc...although missed seeing Boulder coming up to the plate. And yes Jimjen, it would have been cool if yours had made it too (while I dislike Fairmont and for good reason, yours is one of the diamonds in the rough, akin to Schnarr, jmho)

C'ville, thanks. She would have liked to been there with that awsome group also.

Now, I myself don't dislike C'ville anymore. I used to have that heated rivalry on the mat, field and diamond as a former Dragon. Even won a few. I leave it up to the kids of today to settle now. Heck, I know lots of very nice people from C'ville. Most of the them grew up in Kettering :)
