Man Passion your name fits you. So you have to be a coach to post on here or ask questions that inquiring minds want to know? Last time I looked Oiler said that if you were an old timer and have been around the game and watched some of these teams you could have input on a vote. Or did I read that wrong Mr. Super Moderator?

DONT BELIEVE I REFERED TO YOU AS A COACH.. just want to see your schedule of the team your associated with. Or do you not have the guts? You need to hide behind your screen name and bash some of these coaches on here that put in the time and effort to mentor, coach these kids and play the right schedules.

Here's where all the jealousy and hate comes from with these parents and coaches at 10u & 12u...

Example:

In 9u Little Suzie was good enough to play for Woodshed 09. over the next 2 years she wasn't working hard Mom and Dad always had attitudes about something so come 11u Little Suzie doesn't make the Woodshed 09 team. So now mommy and daddy want to bash the coaches and team because their daughter isn't on the team. So every time their old team loses they want to bash or call out the coaches and try to start shit. Lol. Exactly what's happening here.

P.S. Bailey I used your Woodshed 09 team name just because. This post wasn't directed towards your team in anyway. All though I hope we see Woodshed 09 in the polls next week folks!

Where did I bash a Coach? I'll wait...........

Because I asked why Bandits weren't going to the PGF in Ohio? He answered truthfully and I respected that. There is a bunch of sensitive Sally's on here if that hurt someone's feelings. Your are very overprotective of Bandits 09. It's cute. LOL.

Yea, I wasn't taking it that way passion.... I swear parents are way crazier then we first started, it is just going to get worse..

I can't wait to go back down to the lower age groups. Counting it down! My boy @Redfern3351 has been successful with his Stingrays 08 team and loves it! Very exciting!

@Iceinmyveins We are all still waiting to see your schedule you are associated with.
My schedule is all over except on my anniversary weekend when my wife says no umpiring. I’ve seen all your teams except for you Mr. passion. But it looks like your more 16u and just down dippin your nose in the 12u polls like the rest of us with no dog in the fight.

I enjoy the comments on here. No reason to get caught up in these polls. I know how easy it is, I was one of those that people that got caught up in it. Posting “Our team beat #3, #7, scored 6 thousand runs, blah blah blah. What I learned, nobody really cares. You still have to put your team on the field and play the game. That’s what we did, and have done with our Storm 08. Beat most all these teams, lost to most of these teams, tied most of these teams, and had some great battles the past 4/5 years. Some teams in the latest poll, we haven’t played, but looking at teams schedules, maybe we will play those teams. I really don’t get excited over these polls.

What I am excited about with this year poll is the fact that there are teams representing every corner, and the middle of Ohio. The past few years most top 10 teams were from Central Ohio. Glad to see Hutch, Vogan, Musser, Masiello, Ball in the mix. There are some sleepers out there to, and if you don’t know who they are, you soon will. Time to play ball!!

Just curious...why go to PGF in Indiana this weekend instead of the one here in Ohio?
We opted for Crown Point because I wanna follow Bailey around the complex and heckle him.:)

Seriously though, I debated on whether to do the Conroy PGF or Jeff Mac PGF. We’ve played in Jeff’s since he started it a few years back. He puts on great events and brings in great teams. We decided on Crown Point to mix it up a little this year. It’s a little cheaper, two days and you play Sunday (Jeff’s you’re typically not guaranteed to get play on Sunday depending on how well you’re playing), games are longer in Crown Point… and the biggest thing for me is there’s a bunch of teams we don’t get to play or see often.

We’re going to play Jamie, Darin, Adam, Trent, Mark/Jodi, Mo, Gary, Tim, etc. this entire summer multiple times… getting an opportunity to play teams we normally don’t see from Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Long Island, etc. will be a good experience and challenge for the girls. Plus there are 3 Bandits teams in the event.. we have 08 Premier in pool play on Saturday.

We still will plan on doing Jeff’s events this fall and next year, though. Two very good PGF tournaments the same weekend is great to see. Good luck to everyone!

Seeing the summer schedules of these top teams is very exciting. You can see who’s playing the Gauntlet Schedule and who is out there trophy chasing to pound their chest.

Let me start by saying don't take this as an attack but just me asking a question.

Which team(s) do you think are "trophy hunting"? What I am seeing is a very similar schedule across the board with maybe 1 or 2 differences (with the exception of the Bandits) Is it really that bad to have an "easier" weekend scheduled? I get the whole you don't get better by playing down but the majority of 09's have it tough enough as a first yr 12u. As long as they're not dropping down to rec level tournaments I don't see anything wrong with giving the girls a break with a less demanding weekend. I personally don't get Matts schedule at this age and I'm not knocking him by any means, if it works for him and those families then great. I just don't get it, that's all.

I doubt he was questioning the schedules of the 2009 teams as much as some of the 2008. Just a simple guess. In all honesty, I’m not seeing many “trophy hunters” on the list either though.

I was just speaking in general. When you see a schedule that has 2 high profile events then 3 Ma & Pop events you scratch your head. With that said I haven't really dug in and checked everyone's schedules yet. I like seeing the strength of schedule and IMO i feel WOODSHED 09 plays one of the toughest schedules out there at this age group.

Rankings speak for themselves.

Just worry about your 16u and leave the 12u alone or a couple of those in the top 10 might come to one of your tournaments and take your team to the woodshed.
