The results are not posted on any site yet, our 16U Coach left a post under the Indoor Tourny tab, that congratulated on the 12U Static Black on a nice tourny. I can tell you th order of the top three:
I believe the Indy Blast would have been tied for fifth as we won against them in the quater finals but do not know who was beaten in the other quester final game.

saw the MOV Flamin Fury got mentioned --they were flat out awesome last year ---did they lose many 12's ? Reload ? Did their fine pitcher CC move up to 14u ? Thanks MD
Got to agree with ya guys on M.O.V. Flamin Fury. Played them in Zanesville at the Jamboree and they were far and above the best team we played last year ...Solid in all aspects of the game,,,Very solid team,,,,,,
There are 3 spots open for the april 19 & 20 ASA tourney @ berliner park in columbus. Here are the teams that are in the 12U division : Doom, Stingrays, Lasers silver, Ohio dragons, Riptides. We can find out a whole lot this weekend if 3 more?teams from the 12U poll show up. Lets make this happen. And no i'm not involved with running the tourney.
We (Wild Thangs) were thrilled to get a victory against the MOV Flamin Fury last year -They went 58-1 ! It was one of the most intense games of the year . Can't remember the exact cicumstances --I just remember 30-40 girls in their organization chanting cheers like mad women as we went to extra innings. It was just insane . Maybe someone can update us on how many kids they have returning. If their pitcher is back they are top 10 for sure. MD

MOE, you are have something here. This tourney is in the middle of the state and 4 teams from the top 10 are already here. This could probably be the only tourney all year that this could happen. Why would teams not want to play in this other than to avoid the competition? And no i'm not involved with running the tourney.
To answer your questions for the MOV Flamin Fury 12u. Cece will be moving up to the 14U with 6 of her team mates. We are excited to go to the next level. Hope to see all the teams in the 14U Poll. Just wanted to clarify even through our coach is based out of WV, we had 8 girls from OHIO & just 4 girls from WV last year. We played 90% of our games in ohio last year. This year we are even with 6 OH & 6 WV girls. We are going to play 5 tournament in ohio this year 1 in Ky, 1 in Pa 1 in WV and the final in Panama City. Thanks for the nice comments.
I know most of the Emerald's players play jr. high for their respective school's so I am guessing this might present a problem for them. And yes the competition looks great, I don't want anyone to think we are afraid of the competition. This is just the reason we won't make it.
We've got a Jr High DH that weekend also. I think we have 4-5 on our travel team playing Jr High. I was thinking of ways to persuade our travel coach into playing the travel tourney until I read that about jr high. MD
I posted the flaminFury as #1 based on playing them last year also. They had to be one of ther best teams we faced last year. Very talented and well coached. Some of our parents thought they were a U16 team as we walked to the field to play them!! But I don't know who they have returning, and I have not really seen them in tourneys!!
The truth is: All it takes to have a top-rated 12U softball team is a top-rated 12U pitcher. ?I have a daughter who played 14U as an 11-year-old last year and went 4-0 on the mound and hit .450 (playing shortstop the rest of the time). ?She will play 14U and 18U as a 12-year-old this year, but is rostered on a 12U team. ?She will pitch in a couple of tournaments for that squad. ?On those days, that will be the best 12U team in the state. ?On any other day? ?Weak.
