From the talk around the park in Indy, Classics were done after that weekend. Not sure why, solid team and would have been nice to see what they would have done.

Classics 96 opted not to attend the ASA/USA Nationals in Midland for several reason:
- Cost and distance of tournament
- Many of the girls are incoming freshmen from smaller schools with an opportunity to make their varsity volleyball and ****** teams and tryouts are this week.
- Only two families indicated a desire to attend. One is injured and the other is guesting for the Laser Gold team.
Team opted not to attend the Easterns having done that and won it in 2009.
Team had qualified for 18U NSA but did not attend the state tournament and thus were not elligible to attend that tournament.
The team will attend the Queen of Diamonds Tournament in Rock Hill over Labor Day and is committed to attending the 2012 ASA/USA Nationals in Mobile.
We wish the Ohio teams in Midland the best of luck and hope they bring home high finishes for their organizations.

Girl from Magic had a change up you could write your name on!! Took a couple innings to adjust, but after that it was "back to Houston" for the Magic (very nice bunch).
All Riptides players, coaches and parents were in the stands rooting on the Doom the entire game after they punched another Cali team's ticket home.
Many combined team pics, O-HI-O cheers, fun and merriment for all today under the hot TX sun.
Next up for Doom looks to be the So Cal Choppers at 9AM.
