**CUTOFF DATE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE JUNE 21. BRACKETS WILL BE RELEASED ON JUNE 24 AT 7 PM.***

There will be a 4 game-guarantee, weather permitting. The preferred format will be 2 pool games into a double-elimination bracket. **Please note that games may begin as early as 1 PM on Friday June 28**

Entry fee is $425. Teams need to participate in this event to be eligible to attend the NSA World-Series. Entry blank is available here: 2013 Ohio NSA FP B Central State Docs

There will be Class B World-Series berths for the top 3 non-qualified teams. The berths can pass down if team is already qualified for the World-Series. Teams may turn in their entry information for the World-Series at this event.

Individual and team awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group. There are also State Champions patches for the winning team in each age group along with all-tournament teams and MVP awards.

The tournament will be held at Martens Park in Lancaster, OH at Lincoln Ave - Zip Code 43130.

Here is what was sent out to the coaches e-mail of record from the entry blanks. We are starting at 1 PM on Friday afternoon.

Brackets have been posted for: CLASS “B” CENTRAL STATE TOURNAMENT – LANCASTER – JUNE 28 .

Please make sure to READ the IMPORTANT information on the bracket pages. If you have not already done so, it is time to make sure your paperwork is in order. You will also find important information to review regarding the tournament along with Directions or an address for the complexes. Please feel free to forward this email to any player or parent you have email for.

The recently posted brackets do not always show up on all computers right away. Please try to “refresh” your page or check back again in a short time if it is there to view. Brackets are available to VIEW, but also there are links for PDF (Printable Versions) I suggest printing the PDF version.

REMINDER: Coach/Manager MUST CHECK in Prior to your first GAME with Official NSA Online Roster and Insurance Certificate. Please bring a copy of Roster & Insurance FOR EVERY NSA TOURNAMENT YOU PARTICIPATE IN, to leave with the Tournament Director.

ROSTERS: PLEASE FILL OUT THE NSA ONLINE ROSTER IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO.
All teams MUST have an Official NSA ONLINE roster, filled out, and printed with player and parents signatures. BRING A SIGNED COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. THIS COPY of the SIGNED ONLINE ROSTER WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate with it.

INSURANCE: All teams must have "TEAM INSURANCE CERTIFICATE" with amounts of coverage. BRING A COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. We cannot accept the individual player insurance cards. IF you have individual insurance cards, you will need to contact the insurance company to attain a certificate.
THE COPY of the INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate with it.

BATS: Only NSA approved bats will be allowed. Check the National Web site for a complete and up to date listing of approved equipment. www.playnsa.com Click on: Approved Equipment - Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a bat is not posted on the approved list, it will NOT be allowed. Note: It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bat(s) to the list prior to bringing them into play. Penalty: Player is declared an OUT - PLAYER AND COACH are EJECTED FROM THE GAME. You may contact the manufacturer to inquire on the status of an unlisted bat.
It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules and bylaws of NSA.
NO METAL CLEATS for 10u & 12u teams. Ignorance of a rule or bylaw does not negate the penalty. NSA rule book is available online 24/7 at www.playnsa.com.

Weather update information during the event will be provided by the tournament director. COACHES ONLY - Call 614-895-2253 after 6 AM if inclement weather could be an issue. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS NUMBER OUT TO YOUR PARENTS. CALL FIRST AND THEN YOU RELAY THE INFORMATION PLEASE!

Any idea on schedule for tomorrow?

I spoke with Mike Craig right before I left Marten's at 9:45 ish. He was working with the UIC to get the postponed games rescheduled and his plan was to e-mail all coaches when he returned to his room this evening. I'm staying awake waiting on this e-mail because we are currently scheduled for an 8AM game that might be bumped back.
I'm hoping to hear something soon. If I see the e-mail I will post what I can on here.
