After a hot Saturday here is the pool play seeding heading into Sunday's single elimination play.

1. 3-0 Valley Extreme
2. 2-1 Buckeye Heat-May
3. 2-1 Pittsburgh Pride
4. 1-2 Extreme Force Fastpitch
5. 1-2 Northcoast Spirit
6. 0-3 Pittsburgh Predators

All nine pool play games except one was played to seven innings, and most games other than than the match up between the Buckeye Heat and Pittburgh Pride lasted less than 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was a great day for continuous batting orders and free defensive subsititutions.

Good luck to all the girls and coaches today!

Not sure how long the PP-BH game went but it felt like we were on the field about half the day. Good hard battle back and forth. Should be another good day for ball.

Greg -

Had a lot of fun playing you too! Found out how long 7 innings can be, but there's nothing better than seeing the smiles on the girls' faces at the end of the day.

Let me know if you do this again next year - we'd like to do it come up and give it another run.
Jean.
