Agreed, as we were the #3 seed. We're a young 11U team, so good experience for us overall. Look forward to our kids continuing to grow together & compete in the spring/summer. Thanks to all other 12U teams & coaches & congrats to the Classics & Glory.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the feed back, the good and the bad as it will help myself and others in future tournaments. After losing the ability to use three diamonds and having to push the games back to 10am on Sunday, it truly was challenging to schedule all the games in a double elimination tournament with limited day light and fields. Then when we were faced with more time challenges, such as game delays due to injuries and other types of delays as it pushes things back even more, but these are just unforeseen circumstances which we all had to deal with and could happen at any tournament.

I want to say I am truly sorry for not being able to get times out to the coaches any early than I did on Saturday night, as we had to determine what fields we could possible get up and running for the Sundays games in addition to the ones we had operational as that would determine who would play where and times. I also want to thank all the coaches on my coaching staff and parents who worked on fields at 4am Saturday morning and then again on Sunday. If it wasn't for your determination to let these teams get some games in we would not have not played a game at all this weekend. I also want to say to everyone who may have picked up a rake and helped out or lined a field, thank you!

This tournament was the Crush Associations 4th tournament the other three went really well and this one had its challenges, but overall I felt we work hard so at least 8 teams recieved there berth to Nationals instead of throwing our hands up in the air and cancelling the whole thing.

Thanks again teams for attending our tournament and thanks Dan for all your help in determining how to handle the challenges we faced this weekend.

Congratulation to our 2010 berth winners!

Do you mean there was more stalling than what normally goes on any given week or did you just lose a close one as time expired?

Didn't cost us a game just as always frustrationg to see as I have never done it in 12 years of coaching. This past July we played a tournament that had to go to 45 minute games on Sunday and there was not one case of stalling. Games went 4 even 5 innings and was very refreshing.

Jason, I agree with the seeding in 12u.........the 5 seed should have been in the play in game. I believe that would have changed the bracket substantially.

it wasnt a big deal either way just odd you guys played great this weekend i am very excited for upcoming year we will have plenty of championships to play out this spring and summer between us.just glad to get a feel for team in fall and let girls play some games.and we both got berths

Couldn't agree more. TD needs to have site manager if they are going to be coaching. The 10U teams were great. The umps (under 70) were pretty good. The organization was pathetic. Bad weather can only be used as an excuse for so long. the 2nd and 3rd field at Converse could have easily been ready on Saturday afternoon. I would have worked on them myself if there was a single rake at the site. The little girl from the Divas who broke her leg Saturday night should never have been sliding into a 10 inch deep hole at home. That could have been easily prevented. TD was in way over her head.

Congrats to Classics, lil Dragons, and all of the 10 teams who competed.

ace636, I couldn't agree more with the holes at home plate and at pitching rubber. My 12U DD was getting ready to play and two parents went searching for a rake to fill in the hole at home plate. I don't know how any girl was able to hit out of that box -- or should I say HOLE! We found ONE rake for three fields! Yeah, she was in WAYYYYYYYYYYYY OVER HER HEAD!

Way to go Ohio Classics 10U. You guys had a great showing at this tournament! Your team hit the ball HARD and DOMINATED with your pitching! I can't wait to see you play in the Spring!

Sorry about the late reply.... Congrats to the Classics 12U and the Ohio Glory 12U. I am looking forward to a great year of competition playing both of your teams throughout the upcomming season. Won't make any comment on the Tournament (enough has been said). It was a great opportunity for our coaching staff to access our players in game situations. The upcomming season will prove to be a great year for 12U Softball !!!!! CAN"T WAIT....

I will be looking for teams in the spring to put together some "unofficial" scimmage tournaments for low dollars. Hope both of you would be interested. If any 13U or 14U teams are interested as well please let me know.

Again Congrats Bud and Scott! Both, quality teams offering great competition. Hats off....
