College team "A" travels 3 1/2 hours to play "B" on Saturday. Umpire 1, at several times during the game, is seen talking to "B" players between plays, which is fine, but never says a word all day to "A" players. Is this automatically favoritism? No. However, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when he sees a Pinch Runner headed out to first base to run for a "B" girl - so he addresses her by first name "Sally, you're getting a runner"...
How do you think "A" is viewing the officiating? Come on guys - at least act like you're impartial!
