my dd is in 10u she uses a 30-19oz bat right now, im looking into purchasing a middle of the road bat ( not rt or senergy) that 1- wont break the bank and 2 weight is evenly distributed , not endloaded, any suggestions ? any good places to look? , thank you

My daughter is 11 and has had good success with the Easton 888. We are ready to move up to a composite bat but the 888 is a good bat for the price.

I 2nd Coach2's comments. My 12 yr old DD has an Easton 888 31/19 and a 32/20. Lots of pop for the price.

My DD has a 2004 Worth poly-tech bat that she really likes.

It retails for $159.00 but can be bought for $49 less an additional 10% from thezone4sports.com

I have to concur with Coach2 and Wv! The Easton Triple 888 ia probaly your best investment for your money with a DD at 10U!

While we're on the subject of bats. WHat does everyone think of the Stealth? I want a composite bat but aren't certain she is ready for the weight most of them come in.

Check out the "MIKEN" bats, the Okalahoma City, or the M-Pulse, the weight is in the handle. Had a chance to hit one, it is a nice bat. They go to games and set up, and will sell the bats out of the truck for a bit less. check the website to see were the truck is.

ive heard that the stealth is a really good bat. A lot of girls had it while i was on the blaze.. seemed to like it a lot.. hit very well with it to.. ?;D

Coach, My 2nd (13 year old) out of 4 DD 's main bat is a Easton Stealth, it's a very good bat but she seems to favor 3rd (12 year old) DD's Easton Synergy! Go figure :

Check out the Worth Mayhem composite bats. These are the first composite bats that Worth came out with since they bought Miken and they are very good.

Another nice Worth bat for younger players is their new Prodigy bat which is a -13 . Allows plenty of bat speed and has nice pop.

They are out there. Just do a google search. The originally sold for about $160.00 but bought ours a year ago for $90.00.

Rich, I looked up the Prodigy bat and it's only $129.00. A drop of 13 is quite a bit. What's your feeling on the drop?

I believe the easton 888 bats are now named the easton Havoc. Check out Eastons web site, they give a breakdown of each fastpitch bat offered and you can email them your question/s.

The 888 is now the Havoc. Roughly $100 new (last year) and a great bat for the price.

Avita: my DD likes the Miken Freak and M-Pulse. But I think the M-Pulse is banned from NSA play. May want to check that out.
