Add small ball. Bunting and Slapping are now a big part of the game and not everyone can teach slapping. The team that beat our 16U team at Nationals had 6 lefty slappers in a row. They were run ruling most teams and finished #1 in 16U B NSA's. The beat the next team to win it all 16-0, that should tell you how important this skill is. If you watched Johnnies 14U Buckeye Heat win yesterday at USSSA in FL, you know how important the skill of bunting the ball can be.

Hands down chip does the best job
I will put the pitching mechanics that he stresses against any of the check cashers out there

really it is not about making mommy and daddy happy by telling them their kid can throw 7 pitches in 4 visits only to have them all look the same from the bucket during warm ups.

My daughter has had chip for lessons for about 2 years and I could not be any more satisfied with her accuracy and form

as far as hitting 3 girls from EAST CENTRAL spent the entire fall and winter with chip and had a great spring 2 of which hit 400 plus against the best high school teams our school could find. (that would play us.)

every one can talk about who they LIKE but in the end the results are what count

my money is on Buster for pitching in the SE Indy area. He's worked magic with several of our pitchers in the org.

Glenn & Tracey McCoy and Crystl Bustos have been a great help with my daughter batting. She gets better each time we get help with Glenn & Tracey! I also hear that Kelli Metzger with Maddogs is really good as well.

Without a doubt - Jodi Eickemeyer pitching... One look at the girls who have been with her for years will tell you the proof is in the results - all-state, all-americans.... great with the kids and a wealth of knowledge in the art of pitching... calls out illegal pitches and then tells kids what they have done wrong and how to fix it so they throw legally.
Jodi Eickemeyer, Howard Carrier and Crystal Bustos - hitting
Doug Hatcher - catching
Justine Shilt - fielding... Wright State's second baseman does a tremendous job working with kids. She is incredible.

OK, I feel extremely grateful that we found Marie Shaver for pitching and Phil Kurfis for hitting for our dd. In a little over a month, our dd went from barely making contact to batting .500 for her team's last tournament, including a triple that went to the fence. Pitching-wise, Marie has an energizing effect on our dd. She's made leaps and bounds in the circle since April when she started working with Marie.

The great thing about Chip Gregg at NKU is he is able and qualified, as a once high level softball player, college fastpitch coach, and by attending endless coaches camps, clinics, and conferences put on by the best fastpitch coaches in the USA, to help in all areas listed above. Fastpitch is Chip's day job and night job. This is all he does. He eats, breathes, and lives fastpitch and never stops trying to learn. If possible, he will attend his students tournaments to watch them play and give them moral support.

Pinnacle and Crystl Bustos for hitting! They accually SHOW you how to do/correct mechanics instead of yelling and expecting it to happen. I went from literally jumping out of the box (in rec im sad to say) to leadoff hitter for my tourney team. They're really close and dont cost a fortune either :)
