ANYONE HAVE ANY SCORES FOR 13u AND 14U FROM CINCY MAGIC BLOODFEST?

In the 13u division we took 2nd place. We (Blazers 99 Red) lost the championship game to the Mason Thunder 99 6 to 0. Beat the Valley Storm 4 to 3 in 7 innings. Beat the Static 00 (Morris) 11 to 2. The Saturday scores are a bit hazy since things got juggled with the weather.

Thunder '99 won the 13u division.

I would like to thank Coach Lewis and the Mason Thunder team for allowing my dd and another player from the Fear Factor to sub in with Randy. They had fun playing up with the 'big' girls in 13u.

Had a great time - despite the temp's playing until 9pm last night...

in the 16/18u Bracket 16u Hawks-Lenos went 6-0 with wins over

West Side Thunder 16u - Lamping
Valley Storm 16u - Koystal
Cincy Static 16u - Milesky
Cincy Magic 16u - Staton
Valley Storm 18u England
Valley Storm 16u - Koystal

Thanks to the Magic and City of Hamilton, fields were outstanding, even Saturday after all the rain.

Doom 98 won the 14U division going 5-0

That is one SOLID 12u team - Static Morris will do damage this year! Would like to watch them play against Doom 00; it would be fun to watch.

Two thunbs up to the Cincy Magic for once again running a great tournament. We have played in this tournament for the past 3-4 years and it each year it keeps getting better.

Was this fall friendly an (ASA/USA) Qualifier or ASA *A* Gold tournament oe something? I wonder how some of the teams in this friendly did at the Laser fall invitational a few weeks ago? Kinda wonder if most teams in this were full teams or if a lot of them had pick up players filling in?

I am sure it was a nice friendly but bragging about winning this is kinda foolish. The only thing that could be worse would be to brag about it on your team facebook page LOL.

The 16 u/ 18 u final game hawks lenos against 16 u valley storm was a battle fun to watch 9 innings both teams played with a lot of heart valley storm had a good tourny lost a war against lenos great tourny congrats to the hawks

A person asked people answered. What is your problem? Saturday was pool play, Sunday was elimination. Most of the teams I saw had a sub or 2. It was not a qualifier of any sort.

For my daughters's team, this was the last tourney of the year. It gave our coaches good info on what to work over the winter. They will be stronger next year as a result. Many of these teams played their hearts out in the bitter cold (and mud) and they had fun doing it.

Must we only play Lasers for a win to count?

I've been to a few ASA/USA Nationals and the softball players this weekend played just as hard as any I have ever seen. Maybe we should let you determine what tournaments someone can be proud of winning. I know we can start a forum called "Does Xpressdad approve?" If you don't like someone involved in this tournament that's fine but don't tarnish the effort the softball players put in this weekend in some very cold and nasty weather.

This is exactly what I meant in a prior thread. SWO gets no Love. Maybe some other SWO teams shouldve joined so they could see the other SWO teams. We didnt have our best showing. Missing a couple of key players and only having 9 can impact what you want to do. With that saying, we had a great and fun competetive game against Blazers Red 99 (Tim Adams). It was bitter cold and the ball just died off the bat. If anytime those so called elite teams want to scrimmage next spring, my info is at the bottom of the page. I'm sorry but fall friendlies mean nothing when you dont have your full team and I can't stand when other people criticize other teams for getting some work in. Dont forget these are kids and all organizations and coaches reguardless of location are just trying to have a positive impact on their life. Some people make me sick. I believe Mason 99 (Randy Lewis) is a strong team and just because they arent from the "big cities" doesnt mean they cant play. Nor does it mean no one else can. Ok, now that I got that off of my chest, we had a fun time and Thanks To The Magic!!!
