***CINCY STATIC 8U-14U (NEON NATION) TRYOUTS COMING UP SOON ***

We are a well established organization with players, coaches and instructors that are based out of Southwest/Central Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. 2014 will mark our 9th year as an organization and the fourth year that the "neon nation" contingent has existed autonomously. We intend to have a Cincy Static Neon '05/'06, '04 and an '03 team. We will also have a Cincy Static Neon '02 team that was born in August 2012 that was built from a core of the four remaining '02 players that we split from the '01's that had to move up to the 12U division two seasons ago. This '02 team is now coached by John Jacobs. This team had a 2013 record of 38-16 and achieved its goal to qualify for and compete in the ASA/USA 10U "A" Nationals that year just as their sister team did in 2012. In addition to that we have the Cincy Static Neon '01 team that was born in August 2010. This team was built from a core of '01 players that had to move up to 12U by Sonny Ross who founded the original Cincy Static College Exposure Division back in 2008 and who is heading into his 19th season of coaching. Our 2014 goal for the '01 team was the same as it always is and that is to play a STRONG schedule against the BEST 12U ASA "A" level teams in an effort to develop and prepare this team for a one year early start on the college exposure circuit in 2016. This team had a stellar year in 2013 (51-16) and is currently 41-13 in 2014 and has for the third consecutive year qualified for and will participate in the ASA/USA "A" Nationals July 28th through August 3rd. The ASA/USA "A" National is by far the most prestigious and challenging event to gain a berth to in ALL of fastpitch softball. Their will be many qualifying teams traveling from California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan, Illinois, Oregon, Colorado etc. to play in this event. Our Cincy Static Neon '00 team was born in August 2013 and is coached by Dawn Fox. In her debut as a 13U team competing in the 14U division she challenged her ladies and di well with a mainly 14U ASA "A" schedule to prepare them for a much more challenging schedule that is planned for 2015. Please visit www.cincystaticfastpitch.com to pre register online for one of our tryouts.

We anticipate that our organization will consist of an 8U/9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U team in 2014. All of our teams have successfully played a very competitive schedule this year and will play a very competitive schedule once again next year. Coaches for the 2014/2015 season are as follows:

'05/'06 (8U/9U) JOE HILBERT/TODD ISSLER

'04 (10U) Two candidates currently being considered

'03 (11U) EARL BREWER

'02 (12U) JOHN JACOBS

'01 (13U) SONNY ROSS

'00 (14U) DAWN FOX

Our goal is to not only continue to develop stellar athletes who go on to play at the next level but more importantly to develop quality human beings and productive citizens who value honesty, loyalty and integrity. Many important life lessons are learned through competition and "competition breeds success"! We stress the importance of our players possessing what we call "the three A's", ATTITUDE(a good one), ACADEMICS(good grades)and ATHLETICISM (talent)! These three attributes are required in a player that seeks to garner a collegiate scholarship. Ultimately it is our goal to help these ladies in their efforts to receive a great collegiate education while playing the sport they love!

Our core philosophies are fairly simple. An organization is only as strong as the people it is comprised of. We are very particular about who we allow to coach on our teams. Our coaching staff consists of very experienced coaches and collegiate stand outs. We have affiliations with the most sought after pitching and hitting instructors in the area. Three of the basic ingredients in a successful team is strong pitching, great defense and timely hitting with an emphasis on fundamentals, development and a belief in our team motto:

"Successful Teams Achieve Through Individual Commitment".

We will keep a close eye on the weather but we will do everything in our power to keep the tryouts ON for Saturday. Should we not be able to do so then we will move it to Sunday at the same times. Please check this thread, our website at www.cincystaticfastpitch.com or https://www.facebook.com/CincyStatic10u?fref=ts for any changes. We look forward to seeing you at tryouts!

Yesterday we conducted our first tryout for the 2014/2015 season and it was a great success. I want to thank all of the players, coaches and parents for everything that they do to contribute to our sport. I want to apologize for running over in the 11U-14U tryout. We told the parents in the pre-tryout discussion that we would run over based on the numbers and they were awesome about it. We are currently in the process of evaluating all of the data recorded on our tryout forms for each age group and will work as fast as possible to start making some decisions. We will continue to look at players this week and will hopefully conclude our tryout process and finalize decisions after this coming Saturdays tryout. Thanks again for coming out and checking us out...Shock...Shock...Shock'em STATIC...yOu kNoW!!!

Our "open tryouts" concluded last Saturday and all tryouts to fill any remaining team needs will be done through "private tryouts". We are finalizing our current teams and will provide information concerning any spots that may still be available in the near future. Thanks to all of you who attended our open tryouts...we truly appreciate your interest in our program.
