College Ball

Here recenlty I've been browsing around to see how Ohio or regionally close college teams to SW Ohio are doing? I know there are others, just kicking on the discussion...Haven't see much other than looking at their school web pages. Where's the best place to look or get some buzz if someone were interested?

Who else is watching or does anyone even care? For instance, I see NKU doing some good, not sure how they did tonight against Ashland?

Just throwing out a topic other than Obama, and our Dance ;&!

Ashland still does not have it posted on its web page. I was wondering how the Eagles did and who pitched? Too Cold up here so they are playing down in KY.

Ashland is in Florida at the Rebel games, if you go to the Rebel games web site it lists the scores. I am not sure of the site address I just goggle Rebel games and it comes up first.

I am very interested in college scores, I like seeing how all the local kids are doing.

AU web page has it posted today
13 W Northern Sate 8-0
13 W NKU 5-0
14 W Whelling Jesuit 5-4
So they are doing well In Florida . Pitching was suppose to be the weakness this year, it doesn't list the pitchers of record yet.

Some of them are Bowling Green, Kent State, Lake Erie College, Lincoln Memorial, Malone, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Ohio University, Urbana, Wittenberg, Dennison, Morehead State, Bellarmine, North Georgia, Bluffton, and Northern Kentucky.

Returned from the Rebel Games this afternoon – AU started the week off by dropping there first 4-5 games then came back strong to beat several very good teams. They made NKU look silly then yesterday morning went up against Wheeling Jesuit. To watch DD go up against her former coach was a pretty cool thing. It was a great game that went 9 innings with AU winning 5-4 in the B9.

Is it travel ball season yet??

AU's freshman Emlyn Knerem threw the first 7 innings, then they brought in Logan Hursey to finish. Emlyn is not only a very good pitcher but a very tough kid - she took a line drive to the rib cage that put her down right now. After a few minutes she got up and continued to pitch.

Danger1,
To answer your question for luvthegame, two of the players that are friends of her daughter are Tami Lasley and Brittany Ziepfel.

Danger, sorry I didn't see your post. Pecosbill is correct in that Tami Lasley and Brittany Ziepfel have been teammates of my daughter for the past few summers. There are a couple other players on the team that are have been in our softball circle as well that we watch.

My DD was the pitcher for the GVSU/Lake Erie game, she won 4-0, she is the first Buckeye player GVSU has had on their roster....it was fun seeing some of the kids from summer ball play each other in college
