Does anyone know if there are going to be tournaments at GFOD this Febuary????????

GFOD sold earlier this year. I heard it's going to be a soc cer complex now.
I have modified this message 3x..everytime I type soc cer as one word, it dumps in the smiley face?!?!

I thought it kind of looked like THAT from the outside when we played there for the first time last year. I guess I just expected a glamorous eye-catching complex. It served it's purpose, though!

It's kinda sad that we are making fun of an organization that was wonderful and close for the girls in this area. > The building has not been sold as of 2 weeks ago but several people are looking into it for different purposes. Wish the organization was still there for the girls who loved playing there and I wish the Gallighers the best.

Actually the weeds are higher than the picture. No one has mowed since earlier in the summer you cannot even see the infield. Coach Terry told me it was sold a couple of weeks ago, but nothing has been touched. A bid was placed but from what I'm told it is tied up in court. A local family bought some of the Gymnastic equipment earlier in the year.

I'm disappointed in you Lady Knights, how unkind to make fun of a sad situation....the girls that played for and some who will continue under the GFOD name really are the ones suffering now....

My family and I gave alot of ourselves to the organization and to the Gallighers, for several years. You don't know me very well, if you think I'm making fun of this situation.

Gee, I don't know what I was supposed to gather from your picture post....seemed a little "Mean" to me. All of your other post are helpful and informative.....this one wasn't, sorry I took it the wrong way. It's a very unfortunate situation for all the girls and their families, a long and boring winter ahead...

Shayne that is an understatement. The rest of us that were around GFOD , know how much time and effort you put in setting up all the tournaments for Tim. Not to say all the weekends and nights you gave up to help set up events.

Hey I have no idea who you are, I'm not trying to pick a fight....I just thought it was a little mean spirited. My dd plays for GFOD for the past three years.....I just figured it was someone takin a shot at GFOD, sorry!
