Will be up there for the 3:00 and 4:30 games, then hurry home to report. ?It was nice to speak with you last weekend Vikings, and I'm sure the 12U's would have liked a few more teams up there this weekend as well. ?

If things hold up, it should be:

Sunday

Game 1: (3 seed) GFOD 11U vs. (4 seed) Tidalwaves
Game 2: (2 seed) Stingrays-Gray vs. (5 seed) Stingrays-Blue
Game 3: (1 seed) GFOD 12U vs. Winner of GFOD 11U/Tidalwaves
Game 4: Winner game 2 vs. Winner game 3

I might have game 1 and 2 switched, I cannot remember the times that were on the board. ?The seeds are correct though and the match-ups are correct.

Got a phone call from a parent and I think you got it right WV. I do know that the 3rd game will start at 2:00 and the Championship to start around 4:00.

Congrats to the GFOD 12U team on your #1 seed, very nice job for your first tourney together, keep working and practicing hard together, and good things will happen with this team.

Finals:
Stingrays 12U beat Tidal Waves 3-1

Very close game throughout, Waves may have started running out of gas after back to back to back games. Strong pitching for both teams, but the Stingrays finally came alive with the bats. These 2 teams should have a very nice outdoor season.

Sorry WV that I didn't catch up with you today, had the whole clan with me today and they were getting a little restless.

Its amazing how much better Baylee pitches when her dad isn't calling pitches, and having her throw those meat balls all the time. LOL

Sorry I missed you, the girls had me busy keeping the book. Some great games this weekend. None of the teams gave up. Everyone played well.

Better hope you don't make any mistakes on the sidelines this spring calling pitches.We just might get coach West to move from offensive cordinator to deffensive. Thanks for showing up to watch and the kind words for Bay.Just keep letting us use all your equipment and you can say anything you want.

All teams played very well and the coaches and fans were great this weekend.When a good play is made and coaches and fan give that player or team a good word.Thats class.

GFOD 12-u played some exellent ball this weekend with 1 bad inning on sunday and couldn't advance, but give them credit and the tidalwaves also they saw each other twice and played 7 innings both times. Thats pretty good for 1hr and 10 min ball games at that age.

I was really proud of our Stingrays blue 11's. The scores may not look good, but this was their first tourney and game situation this year. By the third game they were meshing as a team. I am looking forward to a wonderful season this year.
