In 2010 we made the follow rules changes for the Jamboree !
Jamboree Rule Change ?? You ask for it, now Bat 11 if you wish at the Jamboree.
Keep it simple in 2010 and will keep the rule in place Coaches
You can bat 11 Batters, but remember if you start with 11 Batters you have to end the game with 11 Batters.
If you have a player get injured with - out a Sub to replace the Batter you will take a out when said Batter was due to Bat.
This Rules will be in-place all week-end.. I think it a good idea and will give more players a chance to play..
In 2011 we would like to look at changing a couple more rules since the Jamboree is more of a Fun tournament and we want everyone to just enjoying the game of Girls Fastpitch Softball without all the drama.
I want to keep the Batters Rules in place for 2011 but would like to tweak it a little, would also like to have "Free Substitutes" as well, Coaches please give me your input and advice on the below Changes Tell me your Likes or Dislike... If you have any Rules yourself you would like to see change for 2011.
Line Up & Batting
Teams can use a Continuous Batting order in Pool Play or Bracket Play. Coaches Choice
Teams can Bat up to 11 players. Coaches Choice
If Player get injured, Teams wouldn't face any penalty unless you're below
the Mandatory 9 Batters in your line up
Free Substitutes
Teams may remove and replace players on Defense with out penalty
If replacing Catcher / Pitcher when on Defense, Delay of Game is still in affect
