How did you come up with your OFC name?

Thought this might be good for discussion. If posted before sorry.

As for me, I used to coach football and baseball in Louisiana. We were the Bronchos. In 1992 were were ranked #2 in the state in football and were undefeated champs of our district. Teams are in districts instead of conferences in Louisiana. We ended up playing the #1 team in the state the second week of the playoffs and lost. I still have many fond memories of my time there. In fact, The hurricane destroyed the community and school a couple of years ago. They are slowly rebuilding. In fact the consolidated high school just won the state championship in football this past december.

My nickname came from my "putting prowess" on the golf course many years ago.
It was either Bold 1 or the "Bourbon Bazooka" ? ?

my ego led me to statman, (it's a self-proclaimed monicer) sounded better than bookman or scoreman or sitsonbenchman or something mexican related..i could have been Darth Mexicus!

Mine is from my nickname which is a combo of my first and middle name Brandy Lee and the 3 is how many kids we have.

In my past, I coached high school in Johnstown, Oh. ?The school's nickname, or mascot, was ?"Johnnies". ?That is the name I chose when I joined OFC. Even though I do not coach HS anymore and have since concentrated my efforts with the Buckeye Heat program, the monikor remains the same and ?I am proud of it. ?After I quit coaching HS, I thought about a name change but when my daughter suggested "Heatties" - I barfed a little and discarded the idea.

Mine's pretty simple. My first name is Bret and over the years a lot of my buddies took to calling me "Bret Man" as a nickname.

Pretty simple...its where I find myself throughout the spring and summer!
