Not many of use around Uncle_Bubby but I am also a Lions fan and remember Bubba Baker, funny thing we have been looking for a pass rusher since ?he was traded to the Cards, whats that been 25 years? lol.

Bink...is short for my middle name...Binkley, and 44 was my number and now one of my DD's number. It's a southern family name...and I'm sure I'll get some good natured ribbing from some of my close FASTPITCH friends...lol. ;D

dd was a "sour" little toddler at times, kinda mean on the field competitively in some other sports, like a sour pickle, so that became one of several nicknames for her. She was also a little meaty, but very fast & athletic. By the time she started playing travelball and I had become hypnotized & enslaved here psychologically (and thus needing a nickname), she had thinned out and I went with "pickle"-dad over "porkyporkchop"-dad.
I am a dead man if she catches wind of this thread, .... shhhhhhhh ......
P.S. - as fate would have it for those that poke fun at others, I am now the better candidate for porky pork chop.

I remember the first time I saw your screen name. I about spilt my coffee and then I noticed I missed seeing the "L" in your screen name. I bought a better pair of reading glasses afterwards... True story! ;D

Yeah, we have a lot of fun with our name. There's... Bull Shilt, Shilt Head, <four-letter-word> with an "L", etc., etc. There isn't much we haven't already heard.
My DD at last year's Wright State softball camp became known as 'Lil Shilt, as her cousin (Justine) had already committed to WSU and was at the camp as well.

Well I love softball (have played since I was 5 and am now coaching). I have 3 cats and I was either #2 or #12 (#2 in travel and #12 in high school and college).

Billy Sims my all-time favorite Lion, I met him and got an autograph at Northtowne mall back in the day when people went to Northtowne lol, he was with Jamie Farr lmao signing autographs. Leonard Thompson is my second all time favorite Lion lol. Dont ask me why, I was a kid ;D

go4fpsb is obvious I think - Go For Fast Pitch Soft Ball. I thought about Dropstep because my girls always hear that from very early in the season. It seems girls love to back pedal rather than dropstep and sprint back on the ball.
