Sometimes it is just plain ol due to bad timing/luck. Daughter was trying to play for area teams, was on a new 12u team as a 12 year old, she had to move up, team was not ready to. The following year she was on a team that was to 'stay together' but after one year and some issues between the coach and a few parents, the team was disbanded, left us upset and not ready to pick a new team. This year, she played on a very successful team and enjoyed the girls and coaches. But as everybody knows, there is no perfect situation so she did a little shopping, was invited to join another team but chose to stay where she was. So 3 years, 4 teams, but none was left on bad terms or dissatification, just how things worked out. I am glad to be returning to the same team this year. So is 3 teams in 4 years considered bad in situations like these?
