We very well may have the coach of this team on the Radio Show tomorrow evening, if only for a brief "sideline report" while they warm up for a possible game depending on how they do this evening. Go Tallmadge!

I can tell you that from a personal experience we played the Canfield team that had gone to the LL world series and that team could hit from top to bottom. Needless to say I was shocked as I had never seen them play or heard of them prior to that point.

Thanks for the kind words. I think the reason you had not seen us before is because our travel season was pretty short to accommodate us playing Little League and we usually did not venture out of our area much to play Travel.

Travel and Little League can be done but as someone noted before it takes a mindset of playing for community 1st. We did it for (4) years and it was a lot of fun playing LL especially last years payoff of making the World Series in Kirkland (Seattle), WA. It also had its challenges with depth. I think the main difference between "true travel" and a "community travel" team is turnover which we really didn't have so our only option was to try make the girls better.
