Little League is the largest international baseball and softball rec level non-profit organization in the world. There are over 7,000 Little League organizations in over 100 countries in the world. This is how Little League works:
There first must be a Little League program in the community. The players in that community are seperated into teams in the form of a draft or blind draw. Those teams play each other and other communities during the regular season. At the end of the season, the coaches in each community choose at least one all-star team. These all-star teams compete against other teams in their state. If they win state then they play against other teams in their national region. If they become regional champs, then they compete against other US regions in hopes to become the US champion. The US champion would then play against another country in the Little League World Series Championship.
