Thanks 01fire! Would you know her name? Not only am I a softball coach, I am a Recruiting Coordinator by trade. No one is under contract and some distances are too great so finding out who these young ladies are part of being a good coach and starting scouting, game planning isnt bad. Yes I will try to add these players to the Maddogs! New Team! Great Organization! The goal is to get this young players a college scholarship! Winning is just an added bonus. -Billy

Sorry Billy, but this seems fishy. It almost sounds as if you want to scout the kids on theses teams and if you like them will try to recruit them before their current season is over. Are the people at the Maddogs organization okay with this?

Recruiting Coordinator for who? The Maddogs? Are there really colleges recruiting 10 year olds? I have heard of a few seventh or eighth graders getting football scholarships but 10 year old girls? The odds even on a beast 10 year old getting a D1 scholarship aren't very good. There are too many variables that could happen to a kid between 10 and 18. I mean, I don't know you, and I don't mean any offense here, but to me your post seems like a sales pitch designed solely to get talent away from some of the big dog organizations. Seems a little greasy to me.

I found an interesting read that is somewhat related: Recruiting 7th Grade

probably should start your recruiting in Puerto Rico... age isn't a factor... they all drive, so, have a ball

If you're really serious about getting these players a college scholarship, you need to plan on coming to the premier 10u recruiting camp out here in SoCal (I can't mention the name - it's double secret!). Coaches from all the softball powerhouses in the PAC12, SEC and Big XII are there along with the top academic schools from the Ivy League, NESCAC and NEWMAC.

Players will be evaluated for their athletic abilities and softball skills. Each player will receive a custom plan for nutrition, physical strength and speed training. I highly recommend they sign up for both the nutritional supplement and meal programs that deliver to their homes because I hear it is difficult to get a good wheatgrass power smoothie in Ohio.

Coaches will also be evaluated. They will be tested on rules, skills instruction and coaching game situations. The camp uses computer-based testing programs that display videos and utilize voice recognition software developed by NASA to evaluate both the correctness of the response and the manner in which it is given. Coaches will also be evaluated by leading sports psychologists and receive a brain scan.

The Wunderkind team package (max 10 players) also includes lodging, meals, air and ground transportation. It normally costs $30k, but I can offer it for a special price of $19,999. You have to wire a 50% down payment (i.e. $9,999.50) to me ASAP in order to receive this special price because there are only 1-2 packages remaining.

I know it's a lot of money considering you haven't assembled your team yet, but think about the players you'll be able to recruit with it!

You have never been to Robek's. If you would like, I can send you a half off coupon, no charge. Can you PM me any information you may have for a 2030 grad? We're thinking of having another.

Thanks,
Dan
