Pool play schedules will be emailed to the managers approximately 2 weeks prior to the tournament. The pool play schedules and elimination brackets will also be posted on our website. We are planning on having a voice mail system set up to also provide updates to managers, such as schedule changes, rain delays, etc. during our tournament.

Hi All,

A couple notes. I received the glove donated by THE GLOVE DOCTOR. Its pretty cool, it is a Wilson Heritage glove but a little different. The reason is that there are only so many of this one made; instead of it being the traditional brown, it's sort of a camo?(grey) appearance. This was a glove they made for marketing and (if I remember) was given to some dealers; so it is a limited glove. May want to hang this one on the shelve.

It is very possible that we will have a Sunday Service also. This is still in the making and would be a motivational type speech?? As I get information I will relay it to you. My thoughts are it would be about 8:00 am on Sunday and will be no longer than a half hour long. Sort of feel a need for this because I always hear how we miss church on Sunday and wish there was something at tournaments. I never heard of a tourney doing this before, nor I have never been to a tourney (doing travel for 7 years) that offered this.

Thus far our planning has been pretty flawless and hope the tourney runs smooth as I know it will. A few Vendors on hand (including Akron Races on Saturday) and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring non perishable food items for the SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK. We think of these organizations during Thanksgiving, but they need food all year round. Who knows you may win a pretty cool Item.

Our organization was notified this morning that a 16U team has pulled out of our tournament due to conflicts with high school regional games in Michigan. As a result, we are looking for one (1) more 16U team by Wednesday (6/7) evening. If we are unable to get another 16U team, the pool play schedule and Sunday brackets will be revised.

Tourney has been doing great so far. I would not recommend the Photographer, Sno-cone person and kettle corn vendor because they did not show up; not even a phone call. We will be raffling off the prizes for the food drive at the end of the first game, about 9:00. Thanks for all the food that you all brought; I think we all did pretty good.

Second Harvetst Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley informed us that our tournament collected over 480 pounds of food, which will provide 320 meals to hungry people in our community. Thanks to all who participated in our food drive.
