ASA Eastern National Qualifier - June 8-10, 2012

• 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U age groups.
• Liberty Township Park, 1201 Churchill - Hubbard Road, Youngstown, OH 44505
• $375 per team; $350 per team if three (3) or more teams from same organization enter the tournament. For the multi-team discount, payment must be on one (1) check. Please make checks payable to "Ohio Blast". Refund Policy: 1-month advance notice for 10U - 14U and 1-week notice for 16U teams. A $75 administrative fee will be charged
• First place team in each age group will receive a berth to their organizations' respective ASA Eastern National tournament
• 4GG minimum - 3 pool play games & single elimination (weather permitting)
• 75 minute games for pool play (Friday & Saturday) and elimination games; no time limit for championship games
• Team check-in is one (1) hour prior to first scheduled game
• Gate fee daily with free parking. No gate fees for team manager, two coaches, and players. Children under 8 years old get in free
• ASA sanctioned teams only. Must provide sanctioning information, ASA roster, coaches proof of ACE certification as well as proof of insurance. Tournament governed by 2012 ASA Official Rules
• Team and individual trophies for 1st & 2nd place team in each age group
• MVP ribbons for each game

Per Warren Jones, ASA State Director, the awarded berths for ASA Eastern National Qualifier tournaments in the state of Ohio.

0 to 14 teams entered in an age group – 1 berth
15 teams entered in an age group – 2 berths
20 teams entered in an age group – 3 berths

As a result, 1 berth per age group will be awarded at our tournament.

The Ohio Blast organization is sponsoring a food drive along with our tournament. For each non-perishable food item that is brought to our tournament, you will receive a raffle ticket. Bring 10 items, get 10 tickets, and so on. Vendors are supporting our tournament by donating various items for the raffle. At the end of the first round of elimination games on Sunday, our organization will begin to raffle off these items. The winning raffle numbers will be announced during the tournament as well as posted on our information bulletin board.
