I want to announce that I will be continuing with the Ohio Hawks coaching an 18u team for the 2018-2019 season. My DD ages out, so I will be a Non-Parent coach assisted by other parent coaches and current/past college softball players and other special coaches. For those who do not know me, I was formerly with the Liberty Blazers and Freedom Elite and I was blessed to coach a number of amazing athletes (~50) who are playing college ball today at all levels: D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, Regional, and Club Ball. I have several connections with college coaches at all levels and I can help facilitate your daughter in the recruiting process if that is her goal.
Our team will play a mostly local schedule in both the fall and summer with low fees ($600 or less), but we will do a few college camps and special recruiting events. Our current team is graduating most of our players, so there are several roster spots OPEN as well as all POSITIONS. I expect to announce tryout dates and times in the coming weeks, but in advance of scheduling tryouts I have created a Player Questionnaire that I can send to interested parties. I expect to make offers prior to tryouts to players that I already know are interested, so if there is interest let me know.
