Great. We had a great time, played 5 games on Saturday and two today. Playing with a real ball is a big plus. Pride and Mustangs are a great group of players and parents, thanks to each for coming....

We let the last Sat night game between the Pride and Mustangs go five innings and it finished around 1 am ... other games were ran on a tight 55 min drop dead without issue. Facility is great and is perfect for games.

Looking forward to next weekends 11u round robin... with us, Hawks 98 Black, Static and Xplosion 11u...

Our Hawks 12u is jumping in for some games. I called SWOBAT -we can probably move Sat start times up to 3pm or so... need confirm that teams can go at 3pm ... that will give us 5 teams - a great field!

Sweet ... I heard from Swobat ... we can start at 3pm ... and play 7 games (each team getting 3 in on Sat) and 1 game each Sunday ... basically - a RR among all 5 teams with a 65 min time limit... should allow us to get in 4 innings each game.

We will have lot's of good food, hot dogs, sloppy joes, fruit, chips, soda, gatorade, and water for everyone to eat at a good price (.50 for soda, $1 dogs, etc). We have plenty of places to sit, parents can bring in chairs if desired.

Rules: basically same deal as our outdoor fall scrimmage

1. Single umpire
2. roster bat, free substitution
3. Keep games moving, we have cages for pitchers to warm up between innings as needed
4. 3 warm-up pitches after first inning, 1 visit to mound in an inning
5. Teams will have access to hitting and pitching lanes between games
6. Games are 65 min, 5 min between games - drop dead. Sunday games are 75 min in length - no new inning.

I would love to see a 15U/16U event come together this Winter. With the rain/cold Fall weather, illnesses and whatnot this Fall, I didn't see as many events going "live" as I hoped.

we can get the SWOBAT field between XMAS and New year's each week night from 6pm until 11pm ...

We could hold a 'week' long tourney with teams playing each night of the week .. Sun - 27th, M,T, and Wed (30th) ... we can get (4) 70min games in each night ... -OR- since the kids are off school we could start earlier or play all day on a Mon or Tuesday...

Any 14u or 16u teams interested please chime in here and let us know if this would work for you and what you would like to see ... we'll make it happen.
