OHSAA rules question

I have been reading through the muddy OHSAA regulations and welcome comments from the experts as to if there is any issue with this situation.

Our school does not have a middle school/jr high softball team. But our community has a recreational summer fast pitch softball program. Many of our 7th and 8th graders participate in it at 14u level. Our high school softball coach has been coaching his daughter's team through the years and his daughter is now in 7th grade this year. He is planning to coach his daughter and her team again this year. Are there potential violations here?

1) I have tentatively concluded there is no issue. Since there is no jr. high softball program I do not think these girls are considered "interscholastic squad members", even though they are in 7th and 8th grade. Hence, there are not any concerns with the number of girls from the same school, nor any issues with the practice and playing dates.
2) The coach is not in violation either because he is not coaching anyone from his school?s interscholastic team (yet), and so does not need to be concerned with all of the "non-interscholastic participation" rules. He would not need to be concerned with the "10 days from June 1-July 31" limitation with this team.

My only other thought is, when do 8th graders become 9th graders? Does this change anything in my conclusions (if I am even correct in the first place). God is the OHSAA complicated!

He is fine.
None of the girls have acually played a game for that district or are part of program until tryouts are final next Spring. Next
summer would be a new story.

caphoto is correct, there is not a problem with this scenario. If any of the girls had played on a middle school sponsored team, however, that would be a whole other kettle of fish. Then we would need to know whether more than four had played school sponsored middle school ball.

Thanks for your replies.
A little more info, there are actually two 8th graders on this team this summer (9th grade next school year). From your comments, I think there are no issues with this either. Agree?

Rule states that they are not considered part of the interscholastic team until they have participated in a practice, scrimmage, etc...with the high school program...if there isnt a school funded Jr High program. Think of it this way and it should make more sense...if they are not school sponsered in JH then how could they be part of the HS program...you wouldnt know if they intend to play HS ball technically. Look at it that way.
