Ohio Hawks Gold (4) - Ky Xplosion (2)

The 'X' played a great 7-inning game. It was a 2-1 game up until the 5th inning. Their pitcher battled with our KK pitch-by-pitch. The 10u Xplosion is a very good team, players and parents show great sportmenship. I wanted to thank them and our Hawks parents for cheering loud and long for the entire game. It was a great championship atmosphere for the girls.

In the semi-finals we battled the Static again. Les and his girls took an early lead with some great baserunning and bunt execution. The Static pitcher threw very well shutting our bats down for several innings.

The 10u Static is coming on .. I look forward to battling with them over the next couple of months as well. Les and his staff do it the right way - they teach the entire game in addition to coaching.

Doug, congrats! Capitalizing is the key!!! Tourney was a blast and nothing better than good competition. We will grow our experience and out pitching is doing quite well. Thanks for the kind words and you are as always a very class act!!! Many games to follow and lots of fun to be had.

On the 12 u side the Cincy Static 12U Black had a fun day. First game at 10 am, last game ended at 1:30 am SUNDAY!

15 - 0 over the Bandits
11 - 2 over the Explosion
11 - 2 over the EC Xtreme

lost to EMR in champ game (not sure score).
Congrats EMR, great team that picked up a 50+ pitcher this year. They will have some fun this year.

Proud of my our Static team. Mostly 11's with only 2 players from last year. Takes great coaching to get this kind of results so early in season. Keep up the great work girls and coaches!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

11-1 over the Slammers
15-0 over the Westside Thunder

Lost 11-10 vs EMR. EMR puts out solid product every year. I'm especially happy for Greg Abbott and his Teal team. This was their 1st day out after winter workouts and limited outdoor practicing. Nice job ladies.

Congrats to Kavin's Black team as well.

Not sure how Team Miken turned out? John T and Dennis's team while the girls are off to school.

I would love to be there and I know our leader, Kavin would too but we are already committed that weekend. The Doom tournament is always a great one and I like getting to see old friends, like old John.
