i hope it goes to 43' for all (14u and up). it's amazing that high school is 43' . and asa is 40'(14u).

USSSA is 43 ft--what that "other" association is someone else will have to respond.

played both 40 and 43 this year just depends on tourney and director choice.

ASA is still at 40' for 14u while just about everyone else is 43' for 14u.

Played a 14u ASA ENQ in Willoughby this summer and the mounds were 43 feet. So I guess it is up to the discretion of the TD.

Or they just dont know. I was in an asa tourney this year and they had the rubber at 43'. I made them call the dustrict commish to get it right...amazing.

If you play ASA tournaments in states other then Ohio you may want to check with the directors for pitching distance. I believe that Michigan moved the pitching distance to 43 ft for ASA 14U when they changed the distance in high school so I believe that would be 2yrs ago. They did it because there are so many 9th graders still playing 14U and the 8th graders need to get adjusted to the distance. So if you playing in Ohio for your ASA tournaments most have a pitching distance of 40ft.

WRONG!
Michigan ASA is at 40 feet. If a tournament chooses to go with 43 feet you can bet it is just using ASA rules as a guideline.
Played 3 ASA 14U tournament in Michigan (which was about all of them in the Summer) and they were all at 40 feet per ASA rules.

Now I did play in a Fall 2011 ASA tournament in Michigan and it was set at 43 feet. But it ended up not being a WSQ.
