Player release

I am sure this has been dicussed before but I could not find the topic. So here goes.
When is a high school player released? I heard that is was May the 13th. I understand that they go into tournament play and of course cannot be released until that is over. But what about the teams that loose their first tournament game? Are they "done?"
Can those girls go on and play with their summer teams at that point? Thanks in advance! ?

Yes it has been discussed. No such thing as a player release in high school. When the season is done, talk to your AD or high school coach and make sure you are OK. Sometimes make up games are played, after your last game.
