Yesterday we ask the question
Whats the number one thing as a parent you would have done differently in your daughter softball career?

Today we ask either current, former player(s) or the parents of either. What's the one thing you would do different looking back knowing what you learned in your fastpitch softball career? Remember parents this question is aimed at what you believe your DD would have changed.

She's not a pitcher, but she used to pitch. Hated it, but would do it anyway if she had to.

The year she played on her middle school team they were getting thumped pretty good. I was working and I showed up late. When I got there a kid from the other team hit a line drive to center field and got a double out of it. She slid in to 2nd and yelled "That's 2 in a row!!!!" and started jumping up and down on the bag when she popped up.

So her coach pulled the kid he always started and put my kid in the circle. She shut them down and her team rallied and won the game.

The girl who hit the double was the last batter. She struck her out looking twice.

When the umpire said "strike!" she started jumping up and down and she yelled "That's 2 in a row!!!"

She told me later that she wishes she could do that again so she could not act like an idiot about it.
