Can someone please explain to me the differance between 18o and 23u. Thank you

18 and over was a designation that USSSA used but that is now called women's. In the 18 over as it once was, you had to be a high school senior or at least 18 to play and you could have folks on the team over the age of 23. ASA has the 23U designation and the players must be 23 or younger.
