Question about gift exchange at the ASA Nationals

The ASA Nationals Pre-Tournament Packet says that a gift exchange between teams will take place before the 1st pool game - Do you put together "Gift Bags", like what you do at the NSA Nationals? ?I've never been to the ASA Nationals so i'm not sure.... ? ?

Most teams have some type of bags - usually filled with items that girls will find valuable. Some teams have used the drawstring backpack type bags and others have used gift bags. Some ideas of items to include: sample tubes of sunblock (ask your doctor if they have any), sample packs of bandaids, hair ties, individual packs of sunflower seeds, pack of gum, water bottle, anything with Ohio or Buckeye State or other local souvenir type item, t-shirt with a catchy Ohio slogan, etc. It can be very inexpensive if you ask for donations from local businesses. Usually 18 is a good number of bags to take. It's up to each team if they give coaches a bag, some teams do, others don't. Good luck, and have fun.

We got gift bags at ASA Nationals last year that included a CD of the other team's favorite songs and a team picture on the CD case. Our girls really liked that. Another favorite was the hand held fans!
The team we exchanged with seemed to love the rag tied flip flops we made in our team colors.
