If youv''e decided to not play remaining tourneys with your current team and would like to play w others, what are asa and nsa requirements?
A player may be released if his manager so desires, ONE TIME per year. A Player may be released from a qualified or unqualified team, but can only be picked up by an unqualified team of the same or higher classification. This form MUST be in the State Office and APPROVED, prior to player participating with the new team.
Article 106. C (01) -
Championship Play is a tournament or competition from which the winner or the winner and other selected teams may advance to higher levels of play
of this Association ( See Article 508, Levels of Championship Play of this Code ).
Article 106. P (03) - Player Release is for a player that has participated on a team in championship play. They may be released from a team after

For Junior Olympic Players, if the Manager / Coach and Parent / Guardian are one and the same, there needs to be an additional Manager / Coach signature. For Adult Players if the Manager / Coach and the Player are one and the same, there needs to be an additional Manager / Coach signature. This Player Release Form must be approved via signature by the State / Metro Association Commissioner or his / her designee.

When is the roster change deadline?
Thank you all for your replys,Her previous team hasn't qualifyed for either a Nsa,orAsa National event,Have played in qualifyer tourneys but never finished in Top 2,Wil ask for realese from her current coach ,can he intentionly not release her?Once again thanks for your help
Like cgs said, it's not an easy question....it depends on the tournaments you plan on attending. NSA and ASA are basically the same with this regard. If you are not red-lined to a championship roster, you are ok to play with other teams until the roster you are on gets red-lined, then you are locked to it. Your biggest issue with team jumping would be getting released, unless the teams you are playing for are only going to open roster tournaments and not qualifiers.
