RiverShore Park in Hebron KY

As many of you know, I ran RiverShore Sportsplex from the middle of 2004 until June of this past year. During that time, Wessel Sports owned the lease on the park and hired me as the park manager. (My dream job!) This past June, Wessel sold the lease to another individual who chose not to keep me at the park as a manager or in any other position. This month, the park will be reverting to the 'original owner' - The Noll Family. The Noll Family has asked me to come back to the park and manage it for the 2007 season!

I am in the process of setting up the tournament schedule and will be running youth leagues during the year!

I can, at this time give you the dates for several events that are slated for the 2007 season!
*Bustos Blast Classic - Memorial Day Weekend - May 26-28, 2007. Crystl will be on-sight for the weekend and will be presenting a Hitting Clinic one evening during the touranment. (The clinic will not interfere with the tournament), details will be forthcoming.
*Slugger Fest I will be held June 8 -10, 2007 with the 10U division being an ASA National Qualifier.
*Slugger Fest II will be held June 21-24, 2007 - It will start on Thursday and run through Sunday! We are making some exciting changes to the 16U / 18U division in hopes of improvement for the 2007 season! Stay tuned for additional information.

I will also be hosting a 16U and 18U - Class "A" ASA Regional qualifier (for Region 10 teams), and qualifiers for "B" teams.

The hitting clinic was well worth the cost just to see Crystl hit the ball! The girls had a blast and learned alot from Crystl and Howard.

I agree that the hitting clinic with Crystl and Howard is well worth the time. My DD attended a clinic last month and learned a lot and is still working on the drills that she learned and is improving everyday.

I have been to the Rivershore park with my oldest DD and am glad you are back running things. Looking forward to seeing the new schedule.

Glad to hear there will be another clinic with Crystl Bustos. We also attended the clinic in October. I agree-watching someone like Crystl hit is a treat. Also got to watch Natasha Watley hit. They make it look so easy. Will clinic at Bustos Blast be open to all ages?

I can't imagine the hosting organization of this event not allowing any athlete interested in bettering themselves from participating!

I will have additional details about the tournament and clinic after I meet with the Bustos Ultimates organization.

Thanks to all for the nice words... Losing the park - mid season (or any time for that matter) was a devasting blow to me. Please know that the 4 month sabatical (?) has done wonders for me. I came very close to leaving the game.

Glad to hear you'll be back in the park again. Nice to know the girls won't be missing out. If you ever decide your ready to try it I have a four year old who is waiting to start playing! She has her "pitchin bag" (bat bag) on the top of her Christmas list with her bat, glove, helmet and cleats, all in pink of course "cause that's what softball princesses wear"! Welcome Back!
