The SDS indoor field is 95ft wide and 180ft long. This allows teams to play with 9 players if they so choose. The length of the field allows teams to actually hit line drive shots to the outfield without them hitting and bouncing off the back wall. The infield is actual size with 60ft base paths. The turf is soft which allows players to slide without the risk of getting "rug" burns. We do use indoor incrediballs for the safety of all players on the field. There is nothing like hitting a real ball but hey... SAFETY COMES FIRST. Indoor is indoor, you use it to work on things not hitting homeruns. The spectator area is the full length of the field, 180ft long. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Although there is a set there, parents aren't resticted to seating in the medal bleachers during games. Parents can relax in confortable chairs with tables. There is video games for the little ones to play as well as a concessions area.

When we run our "ALL Night" Tournaments, this facility accomdates 6 teams (players, coaches and parents) comfortably. There is more than enough space to hang out with the DJ, play basketball, watch movies, watch the BIG screen T.V., take naps or just hang out.

The past 2 years, the SDS indoor facility has housed some of the best winter softball tournaments in southwest Ohio. It is our pleasure to set the bar high and host events that every team wants to attend.

Don't wait, get your team registered for the 2009/2010 SDS ALL NIGHTERS now!!!!!

I am not sure about the other OUTCASTfastpitch age groups but I am pretty sure that our team will want to come and defend our title from last seasons all-nighter. :yahoo:
The girls had a great time. :D
For anyone who has not attended one of these events be aware that if you are the first to fall asleep, a funny picture of you may end up on the SDS web site. :lmao:
