Had a great tournament, some good competition, but Mother Nature came to end it too early on Sunday.

As for the 12U scores, I can give you a few.

Heat was the 2nd seed with 2-0-1 record in pool. Cincy Magic was top seed with 3-0 record.

Great game, Static came back from 4-1 deficit in the top of the 7th to take a one-run lead, but Heat scored 2 in bottom of 7 to win it.

Championship game
Buckeye Heat 2
Cincy Magic 3
Game suspended in top of 4th, Heat had tying run on 3rd. The rain had been coming down, but the fields were close to unplayable. Magic gets the trophy due to their better record in pool play. Wish we could of played this one out.

Would have never believed that we would have played as much as we did with the forecast on Sunday - shame that we couldn't finish the championship game. Buckeye Heat was playing tough; a very well coached and classy team - wished we could have settled it on the field.

It was going to be a very well-played game, even in the sloppy weather. We were happy to catch some of those rocket shots you sent to the outfield. You will have a very successful season, and maybe we'll see you in a tourney somewhere and get to finish what we started.
